UMA NECESSÁRIA REVISÃO DO EMENTÁRIO DA INSPEÇÃO DO TRABALHO

Abstract

The present work sought to examine the systematic application of international human rights treaties in Brazil, focusing on the constitutional discipline, in particular, the treatment given by the Federal Supreme Court - STF. After that, sought to analyze the competence of the Labor Inspection for the administrative inspection of these instruments, also focusing on the practice of labor inspection. Finally, it was investigated whether the Labor Inspectors exercise effective supervision of international treaties on human rights in labor matters ratified by Brazil. To this end, the Labour Inspection Enumeration Manual was examined, used for the inspection of employers and for the drawing up of Infraction Notices.
