A RESPONSABILIDADE DAS EMPRESAS E OS IMPACTOS SOCIAIS E ECONÔMICOS EM ACIDENTES DO TRABALHO

Abstract

The present work aims to highlight the problem of occupational safety measures and analyze the responsibilities of companies in adopting measures to promote health and occupational safety through the use of personal safety equipment (PPE). The relevance of the topic lies in the growing increase in notifications of work accidents, many cases resulting in worker death. The study through deductive analytical methodology, using a bibliographical review specialized in the topic, analysis of Brazilian legislation, in particular the Regulatory Norms (NR) and the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), subsidiarily in judicial decisions and principles of law, among other sources of secondary data. In conclusion, the study points out strategies to eliminate direct and indirect risks, including investments in technology, continuous training of workers, reformulation of processes, monitoring systems, hiring of specialized consultants, maintenance programs and compliance certification in order to contribute to ensuring health and safety in the workplace, as well as ensuring respect for fundamental guarantees.

Doutor em Ciências Sociais - UNESP - Campus Araraquara - FCLAr (2023). Professor do Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá no curso de Direito e advogado.
