AN OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENAGERS IN CHILD LABOR SITUATION

It analyzes professional learning in numbers and the potential contribution of this public policy to combat child labor, based on information from the Executive Branch, covering the period from 2016 to 2020. The descriptive method is adopted, and bibliographic and documentary techniques are used, complemented with the use of the storytelling technique, in the section that precedes the final notes. The work structure initially comprises the approach of the fundamental right to professionalization. Then, the main indicators of professional learning are discussed. Then, the main current challenges for the implementation of professional learning are discussed. Finally, an experience report on the use of professional learning as an opportunity for adolescents in child labor situations is presented, in a reality evidenced in the outskirts of the city of Manaus. Finally, it is concluded, from the exposed data and the experiences narrated, the need for a differentiated focus in the execution of the public policy of professional learning aimed at those recipients who suffer the incidence of various forms of vulnerability and social risk, especially adolescents who experience from an early age to situations of exposure to child labor in the worst forms.
