SOCIAL JUSTICE IN LABOUR RELATIONS: A HUMANIZED APPROACH

The full realization of man encompasses labour-related aspects and contribution to the common good within society. The social needs, inherent to living in groups and communities and to life in society, are based on values such as freedom, equality and dignity, which are important for individuals self-affirmation. In this context, social justice emerges as a guarantor of rights that are intrinsic to human beings. Based on the common good and human rights, among which the dignity of the human person stands out, also encompassed in the field of work, this article presents significant considerations about decent work, in comparison with Brazil's social indicators. Decent work, one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (UN), contained in the 2030 Agenda, is analyzed as an important indicator of social justice, also discussing the contribution of Labour Inspection to the dignification of labour. In this way, the aim is to bring a reflection on the challenges already overcome and those still to be overcome in order to achieve effective social justice in labour relations.
